I’m pleased to announce that the auditions were a complete success. I feel I’ve seen some of the best that the city has to offer. It does my heart good to see how I’ve been able to serve as an inspiration to so many. Let no one dissuade you from pursuing the highest of aspirations: crime-fighting! This fair city needs heroes.
However. This fair city already has all the heroes it needs. Me, Wingman. After considering thought, I have decided to reject all applicants. I’ve always been more than enough hero to go around.
The whole audition thing was mainly Peregrine Falcon’s idea, anyway. I think.

What do you mean a success?? You turned away every willing superhero, which in these parts is extremely rare! I took all that time helping you and the Peregrine Falcon to write up a press release/audition notice and get it to all the newspapers in a 100-mile radius, and you end up with squat, unless you want to count Splash. In that case, you end up with squat and you're all wet! "Evil beware"? Lord help us all.
